How to Use the Inner Growth Card (English Version)

Inner Growth Card: Learning Process

How to use the Inner Growth card to go deeper into your heart.

One card set includes:

  • 1 logo card (InnerCorner and IDG)
  • 5 main cards (same color on both sides)
  • 69 question cards (one side is white and contains a question)

✅️ Step 1: Understand the IDG Framework

Gain a basic understanding of the IDG Framework, which consists of five dimensions, each represented by a different color.

Start by reading the main description of the five main cards (same color on both sides).

If you would like to explore in greater depth before playing, you can learn more about the Inner Development Goals (IDG) here.

✅️ Step 2: Reflect Through Personal Experiences

  1. Form groups of 2–4 people. Each person picks 3 cards—either by choosing the words they feel drawn to or by drawing randomly. Then, read the questions on your 3 cards.
  2. Take turns playing. On your turn, select 1 card from your hand—the one with the question you find easiest to answer.
  3. Answer the selected question by sharing a personal experience, not just your opinion, with the group. Take 1–3 minutes to tell your story.
  4. After sharing, place the card face down in front of you and draw a new card to maintain 3 cards in your hand. Then, wait for your next turn.
  5. Continue this process (steps 2–4) until everyone has completed 5 rounds.

Special Rule:

If, during any turn, you find it difficult to answer any of the questions on your 3 cards, you may skip that round and exchange all 3 cards for new ones, preparing for the next round.

By the end of 5 rounds, if you have answered during each turn, you will have 5 cards placed face down in front of you. (If you skipped any rounds, you will have fewer cards, and that's perfectly fine.)

The face-down cards in front of you symbolize the skills you have reflected upon through your own lived experiences.

✅️ Step 3: Reflect on Your Learning

  • What color is the face-down card in front of us (which we’ll call our inner skill)? What word is written on it? How do we understand its meaning?
  • Connecting Inner and Outer Goals
    • Write your life goal with a time frame (End-state Goal), for example: “Within the next 3 months, I will declutter my room so that only the items I actually use remain.”
    • Connect each of your inner skills to your life goal — how strongly does each skill influence your goal?
  • Among your inner skills, which ones are embodied qualities (Stage), and which ones do you demonstrate occasionally (State)?
  • Which of your inner skills require attention and intentional cultivation?
  • In which roles can we experience or express our inner skills, and how?

---

✅️ Step 4: Deepen Your Understanding

Go back to Step 1 to explore the specific meaning of the inner skill you've received (as shown on the face-down card in front of you), using various sources in both Thai and English, such as:

This entire learning process can be repeated as many times as needed.
